Your right to opt out
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Residents of other U.S. states with similar privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) have similar rights.
Does Personify Finance "sell" my information?
Personify Finance App does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, under the broader CPRA definitions of "sell" and "share," certain data transfers to lending partners and advertising platforms could be considered covered activity. You have the right to opt out of any such covered transfers.
How to submit an opt-out request
You can submit a "Do Not Sell or Share" request by:
- Completing the form on our contact page — please clearly state "Do Not Sell or Share" and include the email address associated with your Personify Finance App use
- Sending an email with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" through our contact form
- Using any opt-out signal available in your browser (such as Global Privacy Control / GPC) — we honor GPC signals for California residents and residents of other states that recognize it
We will process verified opt-out requests within 15 business days.
Your other privacy rights
In addition to the right to opt out, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information Personify Finance App has collected about you and how it is used
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

Information about financial transactions is treated specially
Certain personal information collected for the purpose of processing a Personify Finance loan application — including credit report data, bank account details, and loan servicing records — is protected by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and is handled under financial privacy rules rather than general consumer privacy rules.
Verification
Before we process a request, we will verify your identity using information that reasonably matches what you provided when you created your Personify Finance App account or submitted an application. We may request additional information if initial verification is insufficient.
Authorized agent requests
You can designate an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. We will require written authorization and verification of both your identity and the agent's authority.
